What is LDoms ?
Logical Domains, or LDoms, is a virtualisation technology for servers based on the UltraSPARC CMT (Niagara/Rock) family of processors. It allows a user to allocate a system's various resources, such as memory, CPUs, and devices, into logical groupings and create multiple, discrete virtual machines, each with their own operating system, resources, and identity within a single computer system.

How do I abbreviate Logical Domains?
It's LDoms - not LDOMS, LDOM or Ldoms [and as the DTrace folks are fond of saying - Yes, it matters ;-) ]
