Based on discussion last week, we want to encourage people to come and work on new and existing objects. Let's talk about the current definitions of member roles and resource access per role.
  • Admin: edit common pages of webapp, setup communities and projects (by way of employment only)
  • Community Leader: edit pages of associated community (by asking existing community leader for privs)
  • Project leader: edit pages of assoc. project and setup and commit to repositories (by asking existing leader)
  • Contributor: entry in poll.opensolaris.org grants list (by contributing IP)
  • Core Contributor: vote in general election (by being nominated and voting results)
  • Member: nothing (by registration)
  • ARC member? (to empower those outside of the ARC community...)
  • Governor: access to private discuss list (by being nominated and voting results)
  • Secretary: access to polling system (by appointment)
